Last weekend we took what what I am sure will be the first of many trips to come back to DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) to visit family. James actually had business meetings there, so of course the kids and I tagged along. Nothing short of sudden death would have stopped me from seeing my Mama! My sister, who turned 31 while we were there, is 32 weeks pregnant with her first baby, so it was also necessary for me to go so I could rub her tummy. At the risk of being demoted from loving Aunt to pond scum, here is a picture of said tummy. (I think it's cute...)
We spent some time with James' family as well. Here are a few highlights...
My sister-in-law Christy and me.
My gorgeous niece, Hannah.
My adorable nephew, Noah.
James' sister lives on an island in the middle of a lake. The geese flock up to the back fence to be fed – which delights my boys. Meanwhile, James and our brother-in-law Mike tried their hand at fishing. Unfortunately, the only thing James caught was a cold.

Geesh, I'm huge.
If that's huge, then I looked like a mammoth.
I couldn't count the pictures of James' family. Why? Because there were too many to count. Let's see...How many of daddy and me? Hmmm..I believe it was--Oh, yeah--ZERO! (I still love you, Helen.) Mom
Now, Mother. This is not a competition.... XOXOXO
